WHAT IS DOPAMINE?? - IN A VERY SIMPLE LANGUAGE
Hello friends !!
Today I am going to share with you very informative knowledge about a brain chemical. This brain chemical is called DOPAMINE. It is the motivational molecule that is responsible for our happy life.
Our brain is made up of neurons
Each neuron has a great power to influence our brain as well as the body .
Neurons communicate with each other via a brain chemical called Neurotransmitter.
There are few neurotransmitters in our brain but Dopamine is the major one and play a very important role in our daily life.
This is a key factor in:-
motivation, productivity, and focus.
Different neurotransmitters are made in different parts of the brain. Two main brain areas produce dopamine.
One is called the substantia nigra (Sub-STAN-sha NY-grah). It’s a tiny strip of tissue on either side of the base of our brain. It sits in a region known as the mid-brain, Close by the ventral tegmental area. It too makes dopamine
These two brain areas are very thin and tiny. Together they are smaller than a postage stamp. But the dopamine they produce relays signals that travel throughout the brain.
What is the main work of Dopamine ??
This has been called the motivational molecule. Its main work is to boost us to drive focus and concentration.
Dopamine pushes us to plan our future and does not swing our mood so that we can achieve our goal.
Dopamine gives us energy or fuel in all aspects of life like business /love/ relationship/ sports etc
This chemical allows us (our brain) to experience a feeling of enjoyment, pleasure, bliss and even euphoria.
If we are low in Dopamine we will have little joy of life. We will be low on energy and motivation. Here I am writing some symptoms of dopamine deficiency symptoms:-
Lack of motivation, Fatigue, Apathy, Procrastination,
Inability to feel pleasure, Inability to connect with others,
Sleep Problems, Mood swings, Hopelessness, Memory loss,
Inability to concentrate, Inability to complete a task, etc.
So friends here we came to know about the role of Dopamine in our life and how much it is important for us to live life happily. Many of us don't know about this brain chemical so willingly or unwillingly we are not maintaining the level of dopamine in our busy life that leads us to face these symptoms and mostly we blame others for these.
Here I am giving some reasons for Dopamine deficiency:-
>Poor Diet
>Nutritional Deficiency
>Addiction Obesity
>Thyroid disorder
etc.
We can increase dopamine in two ways:-
Naturally and Artificially
We can boost dopamine levels by both ways Naturally and Artificially. But artificial ways only gives a temporary solution and later on, it has many side effects and bad impact on our body.
Drugs like
>nicotine boost dopamine 200%
>cocaine 400%, caffeine Alcohol, etc.
These products boost dopamine more than 200% but it makes us addictive.
Except these there are some more temporary booster are:-
>Video Game playing
>Sex
>Porn Video
>Shopping and gambling etc.
But again I am repeating these are not good for long term benefits and also it will lead us to be affected by some other bad habits.
So only Natural ways are safe and healthy for human beings to increase dopamine levels.
Neurologist John Coates reveals in his national bestseller " the dog and wolf" about the natural activities that can raise dopamine by 50-100% over the baseline level.
# Dopamine is made from the amino acid tyrosine which is commonly found in protein-rich food.
we should eat those diet which is high in tyrosine. this tyrosine will increase the basic building blocks needed for dopamine synthesis.
Here I am providing some list of foods:-
Almonds
Banana
Beets
Green leafy vegetables
Lima beans
Oregano
Peanuts
Rosemary
Sesame and pumpkin seeds
Turmeric
Watermelon
etc.
# We can boost dopamine with exercise also.
only 30 minutes of physical exercise in a day can give a good level of dopamine.
Dr. John Ratey, renowned psychiatrist told
about the physical exercise and Dopamine.
Physical exercise is the best thing we can do for our brains. It produces new brain cells in
in our brain as well as it slow down brain aging
and improve the flow of nutrients to the brain.
# Except f exercise We can go for a long walk
Yoga, Brain Gym, Meditation, etc.
# Sunlight is also a very good source of Dopamine.
sunlight increases the number of dopamine receptors
and creates vitamin D ( this vitamin release Dopamine)
# There are some very common works that will increase dopamine like:-
Photography, creativity, drawing, Home repair .. these bring the brain into a meditation state.
I hope you like my this information.
Thank You
