Today, my blog is for those people who want to manage their stress. But before starting that, we should know something about "stress"

In medical or biological context stress is a 
physicalmental, or emotional factor that causes physical or mental tension. Stresses can be external (from the environment, psychological, or social situations) or internal (illness, or from a medical procedure).

According to the American Psychological Association (APA), there are 3 different types of stress — acute stress, episodic acute stress, and chronic stress. Each type of stress has its own characteristics, symptoms, duration, and treatment approaches. But here I will not discuss the types in details.


Examples of life stresses are:
  • Loss of a job or loss in business.
  • Divorce.
  • Death of a loved one.
  • Increase in financial liabilities.
  • Bad exam result.
  • Getting married.
  • Moving to a new home.
  • Chronic illness or injury.
  • Emotional problems (depression, grief, anger, anxiety, guilt, low self-esteem

Some of the common signs of stress are as follows:-
  • Frequent sickness.
  • Headache.
  • Lack of appetite
  • Lack of sleep.
  • Digestive Issues.
"If you want to manage the stress don't be worrier be a warrior" 

We can not change the past/people (the reason for stress) so we should change the way to look at the things. Here I come up with certain tips on how to manage/reduce stress:

  • Take a break:- First and foremost its important that you take a break from the stressor or stress source. It may seem difficult to get away from your work, relation or financial problem. But this break of an hour or a day will boost you with positive energy.
  • Physical exercise:- Try and integrate some physical exercise or activity in your daily routine. You can indulge in any light physical activity of your interest like swimming, yoga or just a walk. As it is very helpful in relieving stress.
  • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, nicotine:- Most of the people get addicted to these things when depressed or stressed which in turn is more harmful to the health and it also escalated stress. Instead, you should take some dark chocolate or any of your favorite dish.
  • Take more sleep:- Taking adequate sleep is very helpful as a lack of sleep is a significant cause of stress. Stress also makes us sleepless but instead of relying on medicines, alcohol. Try some relaxation techniques like meditation, self-hypnosis, etc.
  • Talk to your closed ones:- One of the best tips is to share your feelings with your close one as in friend, spouse or anyone with whom sharing can help you find solutions to your stress and can help you find a new perspective to your problem.

Note:- For instant relief you can do a small exercise.
 "Keep your hands (both) open and take deep breathe .. while inhaling close your fingers slowly.  Hold your breath for a few seconds and then release it while opening fingers"
. Do it at least 2 minutes you will feel the change.

* Before going to practice this technique, keep your mind cool and thoughtless
